Since the turn of the millennium, we had been searching for hair extensions that not only looked beautiful, but also met the highest standards of quality. At the time, however, what the market had to offer was very disappointing:
Either the hair was inferior, looked straw-like after only a short time, or the application methods were not yet fully developed. Again and again, we tested new products, ordered hair from all over the world, and tried a wide range of techniques. But the perfect system simply was not easy to find.
For people with especially fine and sensitive hair, finding a high-quality yet gentle solution for hair thickening was a real challenge at that time. This experience became our driving force to create a brand that offers exactly that: exceptional quality and maximum care for your own hair.
The wholesale and retail company hairoyal® was founded in Dresden in 2004 – born from the desire to find a reliable source for high-quality natural hair.
By chance, an Italian supplier came into focus, whose keratin-bonded Remy extensions finally fulfilled the desire for full, beautiful hair.
The idea quickly emerged to bring this premium product to the German market – initially online only, and later at our company location, which still exists today, at Schlesischen Platz 2 in Dresden.
But the next challenge was not long in coming: customers wanted their newly purchased hair to be installed professionally as well. And so, in 2006, we opened our hair salon, a master salon and training business specializing in hair extensions and hair thickening, on Louisenstraße 48 in Dresden-Neustadt.
In 2008, a training program followed, introducing interested professionals from all over the world to the various techniques, both on-site and throughout Germany at events and in salons. To this day, our seminars continue to produce enthusiastic and successful graduates.
In 2009, we welcomed the 10th employee to our team.
To meet our customers’ wishes, our private label was launched in 2012.
Since then, all available techniques – including Bonding, Microring, Tape, Weft, Glue, Sewing, Weaving, Bulk, Knot, Braiding, and Clip-In extensions – as well as the matching accessories have been available in the highest quality at fair prices.
In 2014, the assortment was expanded to include professional eyelash extensions and thickening, including accessories, tools, and professional seminars.
In 2016, a new era began with the Luxury Line – an exclusive collection made from first-class hair of Russian origin. After intensive sampling and stress testing, the world’s finest available raw hair quality was found as the foundation for the most exquisite extensions.
In 2018, premium accessories and hair jewelry from the natural line were added to further refine the range. Only the finest materials, such as mulberry silk and bio-cellulose, were used – sustainably sourced and handcrafted.
The search for a highly effective care series specially designed for alternative hair led to the launch of YOGI CARE in 2020 – a product line whose ingredients optimally protect and nourish the hair.
Since 2024, the color palette has included more than 150 shades, six hair lengths, a wide variety of hair structures, origins, and bundle formats.
In addition, increasingly innovative and more invisible application methods, such as the ultra-fine Genius Wefts, as well as even more efficient removers, are offered. Custom-made products and many other innovations are also a permanent part of our portfolio.
Today, we serve more than 310,000 satisfied customers in over 25 countries.
For more than 22 years, we have been working continuously on improvements – with new developments added every week. We can currently offer you more than 2,500 different products.
